Obituary of Douglas Gillies

Gillies, Douglas Murray - June 2, 1954 - July 28, 2013 . Passed away after a short illness. Douglas Murray Gillies of Bell, Florida and formerly of London. Survived by his loving partner Amy and dear son of Wilma Gillies of Strathroy, brother to Grace Sheaves and husband Bill, uncle to Brittany and Connor. Predeceased by his father Murray Gillies (1991). Doug was a long time Florida resident, and with Amy, boarded and trained standardbred horses. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy (519) 245 1023 on Wednesday, August 14th from 7-9 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at Oakland Cemetery, Glencoe on Thursday, August 15th at 11:00 AM.
