Obituary of Vernon Butler

Passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday August 4, 2013. Surrounded by his family. Vernon (Fish) Butler of Strathroy in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Gloria (Keck) of Strathroy and dear father of Denise Kosi (Ivan) and Tammy Butler (Richard) all of Strathroy and step son Kevin Keck (Louise) of Komoka. Special grandfather to Melissa and Nicole, Natasha and Katrina, Tyson and Jason, Laura (Casey) , Daniel, Joel and Brent. Vern is also survived by several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and many good friends. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Minnie Butler. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 6 , 2013 fro 2 pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9pm at DENNING BROS FUNERAL HOME , STRATHROY where funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Roger Gast officiating. Cremation to follow service with interment in Strathroy Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Vern to the Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Vernon.
