Passed away peacefully at Chateau Gardens, Parkhill on Thursday, February 6, 2014, Russell Roy Smith, in his 89th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Leola Smith (Down) in 2010. Loving father of Leslie and Agnes Smith. Dear grandfather of Amy and Becky. Dear brother-n-law to Murial and Margaret Smith. Predeceased by his brothers James and Ronald, and sisters Helen Smith and Margaret Loucks (Bill). Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., where a funeral service will also be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment in Poplar Hill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
