To Mr Heise's family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Mr Heise was my math teacher at NMDHS. I enjoyed his quick wit and knowledge of Mathematics. It was a pleasure to work with him during his last semester of teaching. I loved his jokes that he would tell in the staff room. His laugh was infectious. When he retired in 1998, he gave me his teaching resources that he had accumulated over his teaching career. As a new teacher, this was a wonderful gift. Please accept my deepest condolences.
So sorry for your loss. I Worked for 17 yrs at NMDH managed cafeteria Gary was one of my treasured customers always a smile and something witty coming from him. He was fun! Fed him lots of breakfast snacks & Dinners there! Gary will be missed by so many who knew him!
My condolences to your family. I have fond memories of Mr. Heise during our math classes. I truly was awful at math, however we had some good times. I used to convince him to let us bring in a "ghetto-blaster" so we could listen to Paul Simon's "You Can Call me Al". He would certainly get "movin'" to that song.
