Obituary of John Thomas Dyer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John on April 2nd, 2016 at Country Terrace Nursing Home in Komoka, where he had received excellent care since November 2013. John will be missed by his wife Susan of 64 years and his children Roger (Tracy) Dyer, Jo-Anne (Art) Beye, Barbara (James) Veale, John Jr. (Sandra) Dyer, and Ron (Kelly) Dyer. John’s love and his keen sense of humour will always be remembered by his 17 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. John will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. John moved to Lobo Township in the 50’s and operated a farm on Goldcreek Drive until his battle with Parkinson’s became too difficult. John was an avid businessman who involved himself in ownership and operation of the Lobo General Store as well as the Lobo Restaurant for many years prior to selling them both. Now you are free to hurt no more. Rest in peace. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 from 12p.m-2p.m with a funeral service to commence at 2:30p.m at Denning’s of Strathroy.
