Obituary of Lillian June Flanigan

Peacefully passed with family by her side, on May 16th, 2016 at Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home; Lillian June Flanigan in her 95th year. Loving wife of the late Walter Flanigan (1997). Dear mother of Arnold (Donna) Flanigan of Wiarton, Sherran Mitchell of Chatham, Kathern Hammill of Thorndale and Bob (Nancy) Flanigan of Ilderton. Cherished grandma of 11 grandchildren and great grandma to 18 wonderful great grandchildren. Will be missed by her son-in-law Fred Stute of Brussels, sisters-in-law Joan Graham and Jessie Howald, Louise Taylor of London, and brother Wallace May. Predeceased by her daughter Marie Stute (2008) and son-in-law Bryan Hammill (2007). Special thanks to Dr. Whynot and the staff of Craigwiel Gardens for their excellent care. Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Lillian, will take place at DENNING’S on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at The Grove Cemetery (London, Ontario) at 1 p.m. Donations to a charity of one’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
