I first met Dougal when he worked at Fanshawe College. We quickly connected through our similar interests in sports and Fanshawe activities, among them the staff baseball league and many years of sports pools. Dougal lived for every moment he was in,wherever he was, whoever he was with, it was fun,and yes full of stories. Dougal never wavered in his life-long loyalty to his teams,the Dolphins, the Tigers and the Sabres, but it was his life-long loyalty to friends that I will remember most.
Dougal, I will miss many things, in particular our long phone chats, which you always ended with "give a kiss and some love to Shelley and Hilary....and a little bit of love for you too buddy". I always knew that was coming. Well my friend, right back at you from the 3 of us. We will miss much, but will always remember. Until we meet again buddy....
