Donna and Family - "The Mentor"
I last saw George over 45 years ago but would like to send my deepest sympathy. I worked with George in the summers of 1970 and 71 in construction. Those were the physical days of heavy manual labour. I was always struck by Georges' patience and perseverance and his failure to accept poor work. This left a lasting impression on me and I recall those lessons frequently. I can still hear him breaking into song just to brighten up the drudgery of the day.

Dear Donna and family, our heartfelt condolences with the passing of George. We have such good memories of George, he was the first one to welcome us to St Andrews Church and was there every Sunday morning with a smile and an encouraging word. May God give you strength and peace.

George was a good man, although stubborn at times, he always believed in goodness in life and will take that with him upon his passing.
George was at times a father figure to me since I was 18yrs old.
