Obituary of Daniel Fernandes

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday, January 19, 2017 Daniel Fernandes of Strathroy passed away at the age of 87.  Loving husband of Geraldina for over 61 years.  Beloved father of Jenny (Tony) Ferreira.  Loving Avo of Melissa Ferreira (Mike Kennedy), Andrea (Nick) Davies.  Bis Avo of Aubree, Cassius, Chloe, Sydney, Everett and Raina.  Predeceased by Piercen and Hunter.  Dear brother of Conceicao (Cristiano) Da Ponte, Merces (Manuel) Cordeiro, Herminio (Lourdes) Fernandes, Manuel Fernandes, Cesar (Lydia) Fernandes.  Daniel loved gardening wine making and family gatherings.  A special thank you to the staff at Sprucedale for all your care and kindness shown.  Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023 on Sunday, January 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  Vigil Prayers will be prayed at 6:30 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 23rd from All Saints Catholic Church at 11:00 am with Fr.
