Obituary of Frederick Leroy Herrington

HERRINGTON: Frederick Leroy “Roy” Peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 22, 2017 Frederick Leroy “Roy” Herrington of Strathroy passed away at the age of 76. Loving husband of Barbara for 53 years, and beloved father of Robin (Brad) Mead and Billie Herrington. Dear grandfather of Jeremy (Debbie) Mead, Charles (Rachel) Mead and Bret Mead, and great-grandfather of Hilton Mead. Dear brother of Bernice Collins, Marie Chisan, Donna Mader, Sharon Wilson and Linda Herrington. Loved and respected by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased his parents Don and Mabel Herrington, brothers Douglas, Kenneth and James Herrington and his sister Betty Steele. Friends and family will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023 on Tuesday, January 24th from 7-9 pm where a funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 25th at 11:00 am with Cremation to follow. Interment will take place in Strathroy Cemetery at a later date.
