Obituary of Donna Boshart

BOSHART Donna Boshart nee Fisher (Zhiige Mesheken, Wawashkesh ndoodem) Peacefully went home to creator, surrounded by her family, at sisters of St.Josephs Hospice, on Monday March 6th at the age of 63. Donna was a member of the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation and the community of Strathroy. She was the beloved wife of Paul for 44 years, loving mother of Lindsay and Samantha (Wassnoode) and Grandma to Avery, Elyanna and Waabiigiizhigokwe; Dear daughter of Creatha and the late Delbert Fisher; Daughter in law of the late Barbara and Elmer Boshart; Sister of Darlene, Brenda (Danny), Wanda (John), Debbie, Delbert Jr and Mel (Barb); Sister-in-law of Marlene (Gord), the late Carl (Suzie), Norma, Janet (Basil), Doreen (Carl), the late Shirley, Linda, Ross (Valerie) and Mary Lou. Donna was also caregiver to children in need in the local community for 20 years . Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has take place. Visitors will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY from 7-9pm on Thursday March 9th, 2017 where a funeral service will take place Friday at 11am with luncheon to follow at Royal Canadian Legion, 266 Metcalfe Street, Strathroy.
