Obituary of Katie Hoefnagels

Peacefully with her family by her side at London Health Sciences Centre-University Hospital on Thursday, May 11, 2017, Katie Hoefnagels (nee Lamers) of Strathroy formerly of Watford passed away at the age of 78.  Loving wife of Tony Hoefnagels for 57 years.  Beloved mother of John (Carmel) Hoefnagels, Corinna Brown and Shawn (Sarah) Hoefnagels.  Survived by her grandchildren Courtney, Emily, Alex, Kaylee, Ashley, Nicole, Makenna, Teagan, Aidan and Leena.  Dear sister of Peter (Annie) Lamers, Annie (John) Vander Heyden, Tonia Vande Wetering, Josie Kersten, Willie (Morris) Hoefnagels, Aleida (Hank) Goris, Corrie (Bert) Kusters, Willy (Agnes) Lamers, Corrie Lamers and Mary Landuyt.  Loved sister-in-law of Mary Hoefnagels, Gertie Strybosch, Louise (Harry) Terpstra and Joe (Marg) Hoefnagels.  Predeceased by her parents Martin and Anna Lamers; her siblings Kees Lamers, John Lamers, Martin Lamers Jr., Andy Lamers and brothers-in-law Peter Vande Wetering, John Kersten, Leo Hoefnagels, Joe Landuyt and sisters-in-law Marion Lamers and Lezora Lamers.  Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023 on Monday, May 15th from 6-9 pm.  Catholic Womens League Prayers will be held at 5:30 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, Strathroy on Tuesday, May 16th at 11:00 am.  Cremation to follow. Interment to take place in All Saints Cemetery at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.  Online condolences accepted at www.denning.ca.
