Obituary of Jake Feddema

Peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Watford Quality Care, Jake Feddema passed away at the age of 82 to be with his Lord and Saviour.  Loving husband of the late Linda Feddema (October 28, 2016) for 57 years.  Beloved father of Freda Feddema, Theresa (Ron) Boelens, Debbie (Steve) De Boer, Joanne (Andrew) Kingma, Sandra (Rene) Heeringa, Jack Feddema, Chuck (Kim) Feddema and Michelle Feddema (Chachi Ramnarane).  Loving brother of the late John (Rennie Feddema and William Luinstra), Jane (Frank) VanderHeide,  Greta (the late Klaas) Huizinga, Ann (Bob) Wieringa, Walter (Effie) Feddema. Brother-in-law of Rennie (the late Sid) Westergreen, the late Len (Teresa) Stol, the late Albert Stol, the late Hilda and (the late Klaas) Salomons,  the late Peter (Shirley) Stol, John (Teena) Stol. 
Survived by 25 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Jake will be sadly missed by many extended family members and dear friends.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 24th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Providence United Reformed Church, 477 Second Street, Strathroy. Thursday morning at 11 am the family will gather at the Church prior to the interment in Strathroy Cemetery at 12 noon. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm with Mr. Steve De Boer officiating.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Strathroy Community Christian School or to London-Middlesex Alzheimer’s Society.
