Obituary of Donald Francis Hart

HART After a courageous battle, Donald Francis Hart of Port Elgin passed away at L.H.S.C- University Hospital on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 in his 87th year. Dear husband of the late Dorothy Hart (2000) and the late Mildred Hart (2016). Cherished brother of Doreen (Lorne), Barbara (Rolf), Shirley (Al), Joyce (Don), Ray (Bonnie, Dianne) and Allan (Angie). Don will be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Hilda Hart. Don worked for 32 years as the painting foreman at the University of Western Ontario. As per Don’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Interment will be held on Thursday, June 8th, 2017 at the Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin at 11 a.m. Friends will be received on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion-Byron Branch 533, 1276 Commissioners Road West, London, ON, where a joint Celebration of Life will take place for Don and his sister Barb at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
