Obituary of Manuel Godinho Rascao

Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital; Manuel Godinho Rascão of Strathroy passed away at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 48 years to Maria Rascão. Loving father of Fernando (Kathleen) and Paul (Jennifer). Cherished Avô of Xavier, Mikayla and Samantha.

Manuel immigrated to Canada in 1957 as a farm labourer. He touched many lives working in construction and farming. Manuel will be remembered for his kindness and his generosity.

Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be prayed at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 at 11 a.m. A private interment will take place at a later date.
