Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Family. A lot of very fond memories with Mel in Kapuskasing during the Summer months while on family vacation when we were all much younger, always a great time fishing, working, boating, always looked after me while fishing always with a smile and great times. Doris and family, we were very saddened to hear of Mel's passing. He always greeted me with a big smile and a warm hug. He offered me words of encouragement and gentle advice when I was Worthy Matron of our Chapter. I will always remember sitting with Doris and Mel with Joe in the restaurant in the hotel at Grand Chapter in Toronto and sharing their stories of travelling and being in the Star.

My Papa was a great man. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. Some of my more fond memories of him is helping him with projects around the house, going with him to the park, or even just relaxing in the basement together watching old movies.
