Obituary of Wilhelmus "Bill" Antonius Toonen

On Sunday, November 5th, 2017; Wilhelmus “Bill” Antonius Toonen of Strathroy at the age of 85 went to Heaven to be with his beloved wife of 60 years Gerarda (February 2017) and his daughter. Loving father of Bert (Lin) Toonen, Pete (late Debbie, 2013) Toonen, late Helma, 2016 (Greg) Luyten, Corenia Kemp, Willy (Lia) Toonen and John (Patti) Toonen. Cherished Opa of Sandra (Dave), Willy (Crystal), Jenna, Nathan (Ava), Jeff, Helena (Brad), Kathy (Dave), Stephanie, John (Dianne), Candice (David), Robyn, Jordyn, Josie, Brittany, T.J and Emily. Great Opa to Hailey, Riley, Logan, Kimberly, Maverick, Nolan, and Adrianna. Survived by his brother Gerrit of Strathroy and sisters Toni and Nellie from the Netherlands along with many other relatives.

Predeceased by his brother Pete.

Friends will be received at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 124 Front Street East, Strathroy, on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice.
