Obituary of Garry Hickson

Unexpectedly, on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Garry Hickson passed away at the age of 71.  Loving husband of Avril Hickson (nee Rogers) for 48 years.  Beloved father of Steven Hickson (Tina O’Connor) and Mark (Rehana) Hickson.  Dear gramps of Jaya and Saber.  Brother of Jo Anne (Jerry) Ballandies.  Forever remembered by many caring friends and neighbours in Strathroy and London.  Garry enjoyed the simple things in life such as spending time with family and friends, golf, karaoke, euchre, boating, supporting the Strathroy Rockets, and sharing his unique sense of humour.  Cremation has taken place.  Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023 on Tuesday, December 19^th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Caradoc Sands Golf Club, 24500 Saxton Road, Strathroy on Wednesday, December 20^th at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior.  Interment will take place at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario.  Online condolences accepted at www.denning.ca.
