Obituary of John Lenting

It is with heavy hearts the family of John Lenting announces his passing with his family by his side on December 23^rd, 2017 at the age of 79. Beloved husband and best friend of Eva Lenting (Glockner) for 61 cherished years. Loving father of Walter (Lynn) Lenting and Evelyn Lenting (Cam Hall). Proud grandpa of Scott, Amanda and Danielle. Predeceased by by his parents Jacob and Jurjendina Lenting and his siblings Anne (Andy), Grace (Henk), Wes (Anne), Harry (Jane), and Rick. Survived by his sister-in-law Judy. John was born in The Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1951 with his family. John’s friendly and loving nature will be missed and will always be remembered by his family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Perkin and the staff at V.O.N for their excellent care of John while he was at home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27^th, 2017 from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A funeral service will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church on Thursday, December 28^th at 11:00a.m. with visitation two hours prior. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
