Throughout this difficult journey, my wife Paula and I have marveled at the grace and courage of both Alan and Kris. Your devotion to one another and to your faith has been truly inspirational. I remember Alan as a devoted family man, husband, outdoorsman and aspiring musician. One of my favorite songs from the Rankin Family, I think, captures this well, it goes:
That as sure as the sunrise
As sure as the sea
As sure as the wind in the trees
We rise again in the faces
of our children
We rise again in the voices of our song
We rise again in the waves out on the ocean
And then we rise again
Alan has left his mark, his gentle touch on all of us in very special ways and through those memories - he will rise again and bring us joy through our memories.
Our sincerest condolences during these darkest hours. Kris, you have shown your strength and your devotion, you better than I, know that faith will bolster you, comfort you and ultimately reveal to you Gods plan - all you need do is trust in his wisdom.

Kristine and Family.
My breath was taken away with hearing the news of Al.
Al and I worked together at Amtelecom and then Primus and he became my good friend, mentor and leader.
When we worked together all he talked about was his Kristine and the boys. I had the pleasure meeting all of you.
No one will ever replace Al. He was a unique intellectual individual and God has him now.
I pray for strength, love and compassion to the family going through this difficult time.

I was so sad to hear of Alans passing. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years. He was an amazingly hard worker and gave so much of himself to Primus. He was an extraordinary man with a deep love for his family. I loved hearing all of his stories about his grandchildren, scouts and camping trips. I will miss him dearly and extend my sincerest condolences to all of his family. He will truly be missed.
