I was so sorry to hear of Jeans passing. I was one of the PSW that took care of her husband Dave and that is how I met her. I ran into years later at Trillium and we always talked when we seen each other. Jean was a lovely lady I will miss seeing her.

My sympathy goes out to all the family. Jean was a great lady and very good at what ever she did. She cared so much
for the residents at Strathmere Lodge. She was a good wife and a great mother to her girls. She was a great friend to a lot of staff that worked there. I know that she is gone but I know that she will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace my friend.

My deepest sympathy to Jean's family on her passing.
My memories of Jean are of a kind woman, with a dry wit. Her residents were extremely well cared for, and she was a champion for the dignity and respect due our residents. Many a young Aide, would be taken to task if a residents hair wasn't so, or a resident wasn't dressed properly! She taught us so much!

To Jean’s family,
I have known this wonderful lady for many years, she was a great friend to my mother Diane Westgate, who I miss every day. I know she was a great mom, because her children adored her. Which I saw every time I saw them around town. I was saddened when I heard this news, but happy, because I know she will be in no pain, with her family and friends in Heaven. I know when mom sees her she will hug and cry with happiness. But for us we will be sad, but we all have to focus on what her life was about and the happy days and memories, and not dwell on the sad.
