My sincere condolences to all of the family and relatives of Rob Beynen. I have met my cousin Rob in 1974 and 1975, when from Holland visiting Canada. We spent a lot of time together, me going with Rob and visiting several places in Ontario. I then learned with and from Rob about the Canadian way of life, the beautiful landscape, a lot of things and also the freedom of life. Rob was a very joyful person, open minded and accessible. So sad for everybody that he passed away.

Remember him as a outgoing friendly man who enjoys humour. Loved his soccer. He could run like the wind and let you know it too. I remember going on various day trips in our younger years, and especially the one to Holland. We met a lot of great families that time and those memories are a great treasure. I know after we all got married and busy with our families that somehow we drifted apart, yet these last months of his life it was great to get together and talk reminisce of the things that meant something in our lives. Thank's Deb for putting up with us. I wish his soul a safe travel. Amen
