Obituary of David Russell Collings

Peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Parkwood Hospital in London, David Russell Collings of Strathroy passed away at the age of 67.  Loving husband of Lynne Collings (nee Claxton) for 16 years. Beloved father of Chad (Liz) Collings, the late Sara (Dan) Pestana and step-father of Kelly (Jamie) Ireland, Robert Scott and Shane (Jennifer) Scott.    Survived by his grandchildren the late Matthew Ireland, Jessie Ireland, Jordan Collings, Ben Ireland, Keegan Pestana, Bronwyn Collings, Luke Ireland, Raven Pestana, Kensington Pestana, Kiara Scott, Emily Scott, Ainsley Scott.  Dear brother of Brian Collings and Laurie (Bill) Locke. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.  David was a long time Mason with Ionic 328 Napier Lodge. Cremation has taken place.  Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023 on Tuesday, July 24^th from 6:00 pm until 6:30 pm followed by a Masonic Service under the auspices of Ionic 328 Napier Lodge.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 pm.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation.  Online condolences accepted at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com
