Love to all of Clare's family. He was a gentle giant. He married one of my favourite cousins. I remember Clare's musical talents and loved to hear him sing. Thank you to whoever spent the time to make this video for those who loved him and had dim memories of his talent. Clare you are with Jennet again and the rest of us will join you soon.
It is a great pleasure to know Clare yet only for a few of his 94 years. I met him on several stages where he performed. I just loved his songs, most of which I had never heard before. He would play and sing and everyone was listening and he played on and we all listened. I was thinking of him just a day ago while I was learning a Wilf Carter song. My condolences to Clare's family and friends.

Throughout my whole life I have remembered Clare as being a loving sweet man who sang to me and played his guitar for me (your are my sunshine)! I last saw him at the firworks in Strathroy about 7 yrs ago and he was so happy to see me and hugged me so tight! Like he always did. He was a wonderful person, I am so sorry to all the family for your loss! Such a kind person! Your all in my Thoughts and prayers.
