Zittend bij mama, tante Mart, praten we over haar zus Nel. Jullie moeder, er kwamen heel wat herinneringen boven. Over de reizen die ze met oom Arie naar Canada had gemaakt. En over hun tijd in de Beijerlandsestraat in Schiedam. Het opgroeien en de tijd van de oorlog, op de fiets in de hongerwinter naar Gelderland. En dat je moeder toen regelde dat haar kleine zusje Mart bij de familie van Dam mocht blijven. Ze verzucht na elke herinnering Nel was een goed mens. Veel liefs van tante Mart en Neef Hans
