Obituary of Harry Linker

Peacefully on Dec. 27th, Harry Linker of Strathroy, went to be with his LORD, in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife Maria (2012).  Survived by his children Jannette (Rick) Binder, Ted (Margriet) Linker, Joyce Callcott, Meg (John) Davies, Winnie (Brian) Gare and Don (Theresa) Linker, as well their children and grandchildren.  Also survived by his siblings Dien VanKampen, Jean DeRuiter, John (Helen) Linker, JoAnne (Tom) Abma and Henry (Anne) Linker, and brothers- and sisters-in-law Patsy Linker, Richard Elema, Frank DeWeerd, and Joanne Janke. Predeceased by brothers Klaas and Bart, and sister Ann (Feddema); brothers- and sisters-in-law Dick VanKampen, Dick DeRuiter, Jack Feddema, Tina Linker, Helena and John Baker, Jeanne DeWeerd, Betty Elema and David Janke, and grand-daughter Jaclyn Gare.

A private family burial has taken place. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, January 9 at 2:00 pm at Providence United Reformed Church, Strathroy. There will be an opportunity to extend condolences to the family from 1:30-2:00 as well as after the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Strathmere Lodge (Strathroy) or Strathroy Community Christian School.
