Obituary of Norma Thelma McLeod
McLEOD, Norma Thelma –
Norma, a proud life-long resident of Mount Brydges passed away peacefully on January 7th, 2019 at the age of 67. She was eternally grateful for the loving embrace of her amazing support team, friends and family; especially her loving husband Ian Reid who never failed to encourage and support her in all her life endeavours. Norma’s support, encouragement and love will be dearly missed by her devoted and loving son Jeffrey McLeod and daughter-in law Tracey. Jeffrey was her best friend and her whole world. She is survived also by her treasured nephew Mark Frederickson and his wife Jennifer and will always be remembered by her bright and shining stars – the 3 Musketeers – Aidan, Owen and Ethan Frederickson.
Norma was a talented musician who shared her love of music as a piano teacher and church organist for over 30 years. She was a Director on the Boards of two International Antique Automobile Clubs and loved her time behind the wheel of her antique cars on many a cross-country tour with Ian and Jeff. An avid sports enthusiast, she pushed herself to be the best she could be at everything she tried. A retired teacher, Norma left an indelible and unforgettable mark on the many students she taught. Norma was the epitome of what it means to be a true friend, and created a home where everyone was welcomed, valued and loved.
