Obituary of Don Waltham

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donald (Don) Waltham of Strathroy at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday March 10th 2019.  Don passed away at the age of 79.  Beloved and devoted husband to Norma(Lightfoot) for 61 years.  Loving father to Brian(Denise) Waltham and Kim(John) Muylaert.  Cherished grandfather to his special grandsons Matthew and Gregory Waltham.  Will be sadly missed by his cousin/brother Ken(Marilyn) Waltham, his sisters-in-law Donna Lightfoot of Toronto and Joanne Vanderbeeten of Strathroy and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Clare(1982) and Mable(1982),  brothers-in-law John Vanderbeeten(1997) and Keith Lightfoot(2014) and baby Jeffery Rajsic(1959) and grand dog Buddy Muylaert. 

Don was an active and passionate member of the Strathroy Lion’s Club for 30 years.

Friends will be received on Thursday March 14, 2019 from  1-4 PM and 7- 9 PM at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, 32 Metcalfe St. W Strathroy. The Lion’s Club will be having a service on Thursday March 14, 2019 at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorial Service will be held Friday March 15, 2019 at 1 PM at the funeral home.
