Mom always had a terrific sense of humour that she maintained all throughout her life, right up to her last day. She also had a magnificent memory of events, songs and limericks. She was always surrounded by family and friends. She loved playing cards, cooking for people and knitting, along with other activities. She was loved and loved everyone. She is now back with all of her family members and many of her dearest friends. She will always be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Mom was always an inspiration to my brothers and I not to focus on the past but to keep aiming to make a successful future for ourselves. Mom had a difficult time the first year after we arrived in Canada. But then she took on all challenges that arose, such as the financial, language and social ones, all of which she conquered with amazing efficiency, speed and skill. She always thought of others first. She never expected anything in return. Mom left behind many friends in addition to her family. She had lost most of her siblings, and sadly her last sibling. Her sister Bertha was only two days short of reaching the impressive age of 100 when she passed only weeks after Mom's passing. Now Mom is together again with her entire family. We know that she is happy. We want to sincerely thank all the friends who have contributed to Mom's happiness simply by their dedicated friendship.
