Obituary of Jean Clark

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Jean Clark announces her peaceful passing on March 25^th, 2019 surrounded by her family at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Clark (1967). Loving mother of the late Ronald "Lefty" (2018) and Vickie Clark, Larry and Sandy Clark, both of Strathroy. Proud grandmother of Sherrie (Pete) Klaver, Jennifer Solarski and Ronald (Darlene) Clark. Cherished great-grandmother of Jeremy, Joshua, Kaylee, Alex, and Michelle. Survived by her sister Alma Coulter and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her siblings Bill (Lucille) Dixon, Inez Rajisic, Bob Dixon, Ray Dixon, and Jim Dixon, and her sister-in-law Dorothy Topping. Jean retired from H.C Downham Nursery Co. Ltd. after 37 years. She was a member of Lady Howard Rebekah Lodge #321, Ladies Encampment Auxiliary Sarnia #26, and Past President of the Department Association of Ontario, and Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant, and the Ladies Auxiliary, Legion Branch #116. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29^th, 2019 from 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. and 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.  A Rebekah Service will be held on Friday evening at 6:30p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30^th at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Arkona Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
