Ted and Family, Jan and Anne
It was with deep sadness to hear of Anita's illness last year, just prior to her planned retirement. What a shock! Our deepest condolences to Ted and family. Stay strong like Anita!
It was a privilege that Sony and I got to become good friends with Anita through Ted. She has been a caring mother and brought up a wonderful family. Certainly, Anne and Jan, you deserve to be proud of your daughter!
We are so glad that we shared many memorable trips in Europe, Middle East and South America, which photos we would cherish. We were fortunate to enjoy our cottages together on Manitoulin Island. Not to forget the fond memories of numerous visits and her delicious cooking! Yes and those yearly Christmas Dinners!
While it is comforting that Anita is at peace and pain free now, we all will miss her greatly.

Dear Ted and Family,
Daughters are a source of great joy for her parents
Long before a daughter is born, she is deeply loved
Daughters are often a mother's best friend, her ally,
and her most precious treasure
For a Father, a daughter is often the apple of his eye,
his Princess.
It is no surprise then, that a parent's love for a daughter
is so intense and selfless.
For this reason, the loss of a darling daughter can bring on a
range of difficult emotions including, numbness, quilt, anger,
emptiness, disbelief and deep sadness
A mother holds her children's hands for awhile.....their hearts
forever.
Slaap zacht lieve Anita, until we meet again

We can only imagine how much you have all been through in these last months and send our love and support to you all.
With Annie and Jan so close to us in Papamoa we will be making regular visits and calls to them. They are such lovely people and will be needing support as well.
We have fond memories of our times together with the dutch community in Tokoroa.
