Obituary of Clarence Robert Reid

Surrounded by his family at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Clarence peacefully passed away on Friday March 29^th, 2019 in his 73^rd year. Loving husband to Sherry Reid (Fisher) for 46 years. Cherished father to Jeremy Reid (Jana), Tara (Brian “Bob”) Shanahan and Ryan Reid. Beloved Papa to Matthew Van Heeswyk, Ashley Reid-Van Heeswyk, Emma and Sean Shanahan and Grand-dog Shadow. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Irene (Steeper) Reid. Dear brother to Joyce McIntyre, Barbara (Bob Kelly) Reid, Morley (Sharron) Reid.

Clarence was a hardworking rutabaga “turnip” farmer who dedicated his life to his family and friends, especially his pride and joy, his grandchildren. Sherry and Clarence enjoyed many day trips and weekend getaways. He also enjoyed his time with the coffee crew from Strathroy and spoiling the grand-dog.

Friends and Family will be received on Tuesday April 2^nd, 2019 at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY from 10:00a.m until the time of funeral service at 12:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated by the family.
