It is with Great Sadness we announce the passing of William (Bill) Smith in his 70^th year. He will be deeply missed by his wife Brenda of 45 years. Loving father to Becky (Craig), Ben (Courtney) and Brittani (Eric). He will be missed by his grandchildren Emily (Spencer), Matthew (Victoria), Mackenzie, Blair, Brody, Ryan, Emma, Jack and a great-granddaughter Charlotte. They will miss their Special “papa”. Bill leaves behind his sister Connie. Bill was a supportive husband, father and mentor. Bill always had a way to make a stranger feel like a friend. Bill had a constant positive outlook, witty humour and a special ability to make people feel loved and important. Bill was dedicated and prided himself on his 50 + years of work with Looby Construction/Ellis Don. He made impactful relationships with his co-workers along the way and considered them his second family. He will be greatly missed by  family, friends, co-workers and many acquaintances.  

A Special thank you to all the nurses on the thoracic surgical unit at Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion.

Friends and family will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Friday, September 6^th from 6pm to 8pm.
