So sorry to hear the passing of Cynthia. So many memories growing up beside the Barnard's, Cynthia always was the one to "take care of things" ... always caring and constantly giving no matter what sacrifices she needed to make to get the job done! Peace to your family from ours. The Wood Family

To The Family ...
I met your Mum so many years ago in Scouting ... What a beautiful person she was .... she blessed many lives with her wisdom and grandeur. I was in Scouting for about 9 years and was there because I was touched and inspired by individuals like Cynthia. I was blessed and honored to connect with her in my life as was anyone she met. The youth were in awe with her stories and wisdom through many years of volunteering.
I often thought she would be honored as a Canadian and possibly given the Governors Generals Award ... She was an inspiration to so many and her memories and stories will live on in many hearts ...
Sending thoughts and Prayers ...
Scouter Tom

Rest well my adopted mother. You are now home with the love of your life, Ernie. Thank you for your service and special thanks to you for raising seven boys who loved you very much. We will all miss you but love you dearly. It was a pleasure to have known you and your family for many years. Many happy memories I have of you and Ernie. RIP. xo

There are so many wonderful words to describe Cynthia -- kind, welcoming, generous, humourous, helpful..... but the one that stands out to me is INSPIRATIONAL. As a newcomer to the area and to Scouting, she welcomed me and supported me and inspired me - seeing her face and hearing her voice never failed to make me smile. Decades later, I'm still having an absolute blast with my Cub Pack, and Grey Wolf is one of the people who I think of almost every time I put on the uniform. Good Night, and Good Hunting....Jungle Favour Go With Thee.

My heart is heavy upon learning of Greywolf’s passing. Sincere condolences to the entire family and to Greywolf’s many friends. I have so much respect for Cynthia: her perseverance, her fortitude, her opinions. We had many good and interesting chat. I’m sorry that in recent years I did not see her as much, and for that, I am regretful. May Greywolf now be reunited with her beloved Ernie and may they now Rest In Peace together, forever.

I did not know Mrs. Bernard, but I noticed she served during WW ll in the WAAF. Many brave women answered the call for their country and we owe them an abundant amount of gratitude. Rest well thy faithful servant,
