Thinking of you my cousins --
May your hearts be warmed with numerous loving memories. I know Uncle Jerry and Aunt Louise are playing in heaven with my Dad, Uncle Jack. They are probably smiling with a few cups of coffee, some ice cream and multiple card hands.
Love,
Jacqueline Roszell-Newton

To My Loving Grandpa
The memories I have of my grandpa are long and joyful, so much I could spend years telling them all. It’s not just the moments that I remember grandpa for but the kind heart he always had. One thing I love most about him was how his face light up every time he would see me. Anytime I was having a bad day or just needed to get away from the world, there he was. He always was excited to see me and always made me feel special. I could hang out with grandpa forgetting all the world problems and just be me. He would show me the beautiful side of life by teaching me about animals, plants and friendship.
Some of my best memories were when grandpa, my brother Jason (best brother ever) and I would get all excited to go to the small animal auction at trails end on Saturday. We would load up the animals for sale and get a lovely lunch from the world’s best grandma. While waiting at the sale we would go buy some smoked herring to eat and talk endlessly about what rabbits or pigeons we wanted to buy. Then sit in the truck and eat salmon sandwiches and apples. Then back to the sale to go get those rabbits.
Thank you, grandpa, for showing the best parts of life and letting me grow with you. Grandpa and grandma have raised a wonderful huge family that is loving and caring. For this I can never thank you and grandma enough for the generations of wonderful people you have brought this world. I have an amazing family of my own that I will try my best to pass along the love that you showed me.
Thank you, missing you so much.
Little Ritchie

I am saddened to hear of Uncle Jerry's passing. Condolences to my cousins and to all of Jerry's extended family. I was glad to be able to visit with him on his 90th birthday, and have many fond memories of his big smile from family visits and picnics. Darlene and I are in Florida for the winter so won't be able to attend this funeral, but we will be thinking of you.
