Marilyn & family,
I was saddened to read of Ken’s passing. Ken & I were both Managers in the LC Community Services Division. We were a tight knit work group in those years. Ken was always such a kind and generous colleague. When I announced that I had bought a retirement home in New Brunswick and would eventually move back, Ken and I would talk about rural living before or after almost every meeting. I invited him to visit us many time and after we moved, I always held out a bit of hope that you two might make it down for a visit. We often talked as well about how his granddaughter was doing – I think she was a page at the Thedford Branch at that time?
Keep in mind that the sorrow of the faithful
 is not that of permanent loss, 
but the tender sense of sadness
 that comes in saying good-bye for now 
to someone we love.
 May today's sorrow give way
 to the peace and
 comfort of God's love. Bless you all.

Dear Marilyn and family:
We were saddened to learn of Ken's failing health and passing. He was such a gentle man and loved his family and His Lord Jesus Christ so very much. He was always a blessing and we feel privileged to have known him. His journey is certainly a testimony of God's love, mercy and grace. What comfort it is to know that he has completed the journey set out for him and is now free from pain in the presence of His Saviour Jesus Christ. May God give you His special comfort and strength through these days.
