You know when you're a school aged kid and there's that "person" at your school who made such an impact that you will never forget?
Harry was that person for me. I can still remember coming in from recess every day and Harry would be there at the door to greet the kids but his greeting was not like any other. He would crouch down on his knee with his head down and every kid would walk by eager to rub Harry's brush cut head. Harry always came to the rescue when you had a problem at the milk machine and every Tuesday and Thursday Harry cooked and served up the most fabulous hot dogs (seriously THE BEST hot dogs) to all the kids. Everyone who knew Harry loved him. Rest in peace Harry! So many of us will never forget you!
Lets all have a hot dog (boiled in water with butter) in Harry's honour!

Just saw the info tonight. So sorry to hear of Harry's passing.
What a great man and a great friend. I will always remember the kids brushing their hands over his hair as we walked by heading for the gym and he was filling the pop machine or working at the wall plugs. The smell of hundreds of boiled hot dogs is fully ingrained in my nostrils. My classroom was just down the hall.
He will be with Josephine now talking up a storm.
Love and prayers to all of you at this time of sorrow.
