Obituary of Hazel Katherine Thompson

Passed away peacefully at Strathmere Lodge on Monday September 17, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Grant “Stub” Thompson (1981). Loving mother of Don (Marj) Thompson, Terry (Sherrie) Thompson, Judy (Leonard) Westgate, Ross (Sonia) Thompson, Mary Thompson, Roy (Bev King) Thompson, Susan Thompson, Barb (Lew) Carter, Anne (Paul) Thompson Wambua and the late Jean Watson (2013) survived by Ken. Cherished grandmother of Tracy (Rich) Zemmelink, Paul (Gemma) Thompson, Cody Thompson, Debbie Paquette, Amy (Patrick) English, Adam (Leanne) Thompson, Kal (Natalie) Watson, Galen (Cathy) Watson, Tyler Thompson, Rayleen (Adrian) Butt, Mackenzie Carter, Ezell Wambua, and the late Darryl Westgate (2015). Great grandmother of 16. Sister in law of Jean Hill. Predeceased by her brothers Donald and Russell Hill, and sister Gladys Jarmain. Survived by many nieces, nephews and her extended family. Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY (519-245-1023), 32 Metcalfe St West, on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 6-8 PM. Visiting will continue on Monday, September 24, from 12 noon until the time of service at 1 PM. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery to follow.
